Youth Mentorship & Leadership
Preparing young people for work, responsibility, and public purpose.
Young people need more than motivation. They need practical guidance, credible role models, and access to pathways that convert talent into direction.
Among young people, Dr. Damaris Maweu is described as a mentor, role model, and advocate. That public role informs a program pillar that takes youth potential seriously and refuses to reduce it to slogans. The foundation supports entrepreneurship, leadership formation, and career development as interconnected elements of preparation for adulthood.
This work matters because talent without guidance can easily be delayed by uncertainty, limited exposure, or lack of networks. Structured mentorship helps young people understand how to navigate study, work, service, and enterprise with greater confidence. Leadership training strengthens the ability to act responsibly in both community and professional settings.
The pillar focuses on durable formation: helping young people build judgement, aspiration, and readiness in ways that position them not only to succeed individually, but also to contribute constructively to the societies around them.
